JUTE BAGS
With jute bag receiving, the coffee arrives in 60 kg bags. As storage at LIV is done entirely with standard big-bags, upon receiving the jute bags, we open them, deposit the grains into an intake and transfer the storage into big-bags.

Big Bag
In the process of big-bag unloading, coffee arrives at LIV in transport bags which, as a procedure, are unloaded, deposited into the intake and we transfer to storage into standard big-bags with their own, unique RFID tags.

Pré-limpeza
The pre-cleaning machine is the beginning of reprocessing. In this stage, the initial cleaning of the coffee beans is carried out, in which most of the dust, foreign objects, dried cherry pods, small, broken beans, clods, and other impurities are removed. All coffee also passes through a magnetic plate to remove metals.
More -
DESTONER
The destoner is the second stage of reprocessing and is carried out using a machine with a inclined plane, air flow from the bottom upwards and a vibrating motion. In this way, the heaviest particles, such as stones, for example, are removed through the upper part, while the coffee beans go to the bottom. Here, there is also a second magnetic plate to remove metals that were not removed in precleaning.

SCREENER
The third stage of LIV Logística's reprocessing is sorting by size. This is done through the screeners, which are double machines with vibrating movements and a series of screens of different sizes and shapes.
More -
SORTING BY DENSITY
In the fourth step of reprocessing, coffee beans are taken from the screeners to the densimetric tables, which are inclined machines with an upward air flow and vibrating motion. The heaviest beans go to the top and the lightest to the bottom, separating them by density.

ELECTRONIC SORTING (COLOR)
The fifth and final step of our reprocessing is sorting by color, or electronic sorting. The colors of unwanted beans are set by the user and the machine automatically sorts them out. Through the optical sensor, the equipment identifies and separates undesirable beans such as: black, white, insect damaged, green, light green and sour.

Blend
The blending process is carried out in two stages. In the first, proportional batches are deposited in the silos. In the second, the beans are blended using the elevators. The result of this process is a homogeneous coffee ready to be shipped.

JUTE BAG MARKING
Jute bag marking is carried out according to the customer's instructions. Each jute bags shipment has a specific marking. It is done with a mechanical stamper, using letters, numbers and symbols.
